Dharma, Religion, and Ideologies: A Blunt Truth the World Often Ignores
In a world plagued by confusion, corruption, and spiritual decay, it becomes essential to strip away the cosmetic layers of so-called religions and ideologies and confront the truth head-on. When we speak of Dharma, we must rise above modern interpretations and political correctness. Let’s call things as they are.
Sanatan Dharma: The Timeless Spiritual Foundation
If I talk about Dharma, then it is, and has always been, Sanatan Dharma, the eternal way of life. Sanatan Dharma is not a religion; but a complete cosmic code of righteous living, deeply embedded in nature, consciousness, and universal balance.
It has four powerful pillars that uphold the spiritual civilization of Bharatvarsh (India):
Hinduism ~ The most ancient and vast reservoir of spiritual, philosophical, and scientific knowledge.
Jainism ~ A profound path of non-violence, asceticism, and inner purification.
Buddhism ~ A sharp, compassionate path that explores dukkha (suffering) and liberation from it.
Sikhism ~ A dynamic spiritual tradition grounded in service, discipline, and devotion.
"Sanatan Dharma is not a belief system. It is the blueprint of the universe's rhythm, eternal, self-sustaining, and beyond destruction." ~ Adarsh Singh
These are not religions but paths to liberation (moksha). They are born from the soil of the Bharatvarsh and are rooted in experiential wisdom, not dogma. These traditions don't demand blind following, they invite deep inquiry and personal transformation.
Religion (Mazhab): A Matter of Faith or Control?
If I have to talk about religions or mazhabs in the conventional sense, systems organized under a name, a book, and a prophet, then the landscape looks different. Among these, Judaism stands out.
Judaism, though often misunderstood, is deeply committed to its heritage, its people, and its moral code. It has remained largely introspective, preserving a spiritual lineage through intense challenges.
"The strength of a religion is not in its expansion, but in its ability to protect truth through centuries of distortion." ~ Adarsh Singh
In contrast, many other organized religions have historically been used as tools of empire-building, for the accumulation of wealth, land, and control over women. They wrap imperialistic agendas in divine robes, using heaven and hell as psychological weapons to subdue the masses.
The Worst Forms of Religion: Communism and Bhimtaism
And then there are those that pretend to be ideologies but operate as dangerous religions, Communism and Bhimtaism. These are not just political movements, they have become cult-like systems of blind belief, intolerance, and hatred for spiritual principles.
Communism is the worst form of religion. It preaches equality but enforces oppression, abolishing faith, family, and freedom in the name of a utopian lie. Wherever communism has ruled, it has butchered spirituality, killed culture, and enslaved the soul.
Bhimtaism, a distorted offshoot of identity politics, uses victimhood as a weapon and replaces universal dharma with divisive hatred. It doesn't uplift, it tears down in the name of social justice while fostering deep resentment, anti-tradition sentiment, and mental fragmentation.
"When ideology is worshipped and truth is demonized, you no longer have a political debate, you have a toxic religion." ~ Adarsh Singh
These systems are not concerned with self-realization or truth. They are mechanisms of manipulation, dressed up in moral language to gain power, money, and dominance.
"This is the worst form of religion, one that removes God, replaces the soul with slogans, and calls it progress." ~ Adarsh Singh
↱☆The Rest☆↲ : Distorted Constructs for Power and Plunder
Let’s not mince words. Many so-called religions and belief systems are cleverly designed political instruments. They are not born from divine realization but from the ambitions of warlords, colonizers, and revolutionaries who converted their greed into gospel.
They serve to manipulate minds, hoard wealth, and dominate women. These are not pathways to the divine, they are corridors to corruption, ego, and enslavement.
"If a belief system feeds ego, suppresses women, and incites violence in the name of God, it’s not a religion, it’s a mental virus." ~ Adarsh Singh
The Return to Dharma
In the noise of modernity, it’s time we return to Dharma, not as a ritual, but as a way of being. Sanatan Dharma doesn’t ask you to believe, it invites you to experience, question, and evolve.
It is the only system that has stood the test of time, offering timeless wisdom, inner peace, and balance with nature. It is not just India's legacy, it is humanity's ultimate path forward.
"Dharma is not an option, it is the only compass that doesn’t change with power, politics, or propaganda." ~ Adarsh Singh
